A MESSAGE FROM ANDREI POLIAKOV | FOUNDER & CEO

An important update.

Your collateral remains protected.

Dear APX Clients,

Following the confirmed security incident involving Binance, I want to personally reassure you that APX has no exposure to Binance, and the custody of your collateral is unaffected.

While incidents like this understandably raise questions about the security of digital assets, safeguarding client collateral has always been central to how we've built APX, and that commitment remains unchanged.

HOW YOUR COLLATERAL IS PROTECTED

Segregated cold storage
with BitGo Trust

Your collateral is held in segregated cold storage with BitGo Trust, with up to $250 million in aggregate custody insurance.1

Never lent, reused
or rehypothecated

Your collateral is never lent out, reused or used to generate yield.

Visible and verifiable
on-chain, 24/7

You can view your collateral in the APX app and verify it on-chain whenever you choose.

APX is independently SOC 2 audited.
A REMINDER ABOUT YOUR LTV

While your collateral custody is unaffected, market volatility can impact your loan-to-value ratio (LTV). You can check your current LTV in the APX app and reduce it by adding collateral or repaying part of your outstanding balance.

80%
LTV notification

We send an automated notification at 80% LTV.

90%
Partial liquidation

Under our 90/85 Standard, enough collateral is sold to reset LTV near 85%.

~85%
Target LTV

Reset to approximately 85% LTV, with no liquidation fees or spread.

WE'RE HERE FOR YOU

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@apxlending.com and we will respond as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued trust in APX.
